Get your children involved in the Fort Ord Community as well! In addition to the sports teams that are run seasonally, all year round your children can learn great survival, living and leadership skills with the Boys and/or Girl Scouts. There are opportunities for all age groups. All groups meet at Building 4243 on Gigling Road across from the Stilwell Community Center and next to the Central Coast Credit Union. The following groups are active at OMC:

The best time to call is Tuesday evenings after 6:30 PM. The Boy Scouts also have a Yahoo group. The link is listed on the right. There is also a pressing need for adult leaders. The Cub Scout pack currently has 45 Cub Scouts, a very large and active group. As a former girl scout and with two nephews in the boy scouts, scouting is a great experience for children of all ages.
